The definition of fitness

at 8:24 PM
Interestingly, the definition of physical fitness has evolved from being primarily focused on athletic performance to include health-related aspects.
The reason for this is because evolution fitness or be in the form can be a bit too complex or abstract; so, why so many different definitions. For example, Government health agencies and other organizations define fit differently even if they agree on some aspects.
To get some clarification on the definition, you must first understand that the definition of fitness is comprised of two separate parts. And including both parties makes the definition more precise. In fact, most accepted definition includes a component of general fitness or health-related, as well as a fitness or performance/skills (the ability to perform specific aspects of sports or activities) component. So a definition falls short when using only one hand.
Let's develop the two parts of the definition.
Some argue that fitness should be measured through the use of a certain type of criteria (for health-related components of physical fitness). Health-related fitness or General includes the fitness components that have a relationship with the State of health of regular exercise, proper diet and nutrition, and adequate rest for physical recovery in required parameters. In other words, be in a State of quality in the health and well-being.
On the other hand, some say that physical fitness should be measured through population-based standard defined by the achievement of specific goals on various suitability tests that represent the desired health standards (for performance-related components of fitness/skills). Performance/skills or specific fitness is the ability of a person to perform a specific task with a reasonable return as sports
or other physical activity.
Therefore, a good general definition of the physical form is "good health, combined with the proper physical development. In other words, a body that is easily able to fight the disease with a defined proportion. "
However, a better definition would be "a set of attributes that are both health related or performance (or skill). Health fitness includes the components of fitness, which are both healthy. Performance fitness/skill involves the fitness components that enable excellent work or sport performance. "
Now, having said all this, it needs to be pointed out that it is not very useful to try to define the physical form as the one and only one all-encompassing definition, due to the nature of the concepts involved in the definition of physical fitness. (And explaining thoroughly those concepts is beyond the scope of this article).
On a final note, most government health agencies and scientists, are in fact agree that fitness can be divided into the following types (known as the five components of fitness): composition, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, muscular strength and muscular endurance. Because each of these components can be assessed, quantified and measured to give a general idea of the fitness level of a person.
I know that some sources may discuss agility, balance, coordination and speed with 5 components of fitness to help clarify the context of establishing the level of physical fitness of someone. In addition, you may find that some sources also include mental and emotional health as an important part of overall fitness.
As you can tell from this article alone, when you try to provide a definition of fitness, you can clearly see that the complete fitness is certainly more than just a good overall health.
